Elevation is an amazing training experience that will inspire and equip you for ministry with children, youth and families. It’s a chance to learn some new skills, discover some great resources and be inspired by experienced trainers.

Whether you’re a parent, a school teacher, a youth leader, a pastor, Sunday school teacher or a church council member – we guarantee that Elevation will teach you something new and inspire you to keep serving!

We’ve been blessed to pull together a great elective program for Elevation19. There are some great new electives (and some returning favourites) to consider and importantly every single elective will be facilitated by a passionate trainer who has tested their content in the field. Come ready to learn practical skills and ideas that you can use straight away!

Like all good things in life, Elevation is best enjoyed with friends and colleagues. We encourage you to maximise the impact of the training by bringing your ministry team or some friends who you can debrief the day with and together consider potential changes to your local ministry practice.

In 2019 we're excited to move to a beautiful new venue at Cannon Hill Anglican College. Their air-conditioned and technology rich facilities will help to make Elevation19 a great day of learning and encouragement.

Keynote Speaker - Terry Williams

We're thrilled this year to have Terry Williams joining us at Elevation19 to share his wisdom and experience during our morning keynote. Terry trained and worked as a teacher in primary and secondary schools before joining the team at SU Queensland, where he has worked for 35 years as a specialist in ministry with families and children. In 2008 Terry was seconded to the SU International team, for half of his time, to serve SU movements and to develop partnering initiatives with global networks. Terry's passion is to help children to find and live out a lifelong faith in Jesus and to find the 'life to the full' that He provides as well as supporting families in their primary role in faith formation. Terry is married to Margaret and they have three adult children and four grandchildren. Terry is an inspiring speaker and storyteller and we cannot wait to be blessed through him at Elevation19!
