We want to make you aware of a beautiful ministry resource that is available to support local ministry; Abode Park campsite at Mt Barney... a little known gem in our church!

Abode Park, is a stunning tenting site located on Barney View Rd at Mt Barney, less than 20mins from Rathdowney. The site, which is owned by St Paul's Lutheran Church at Beaudesert, was originally the Barney View Lutheran Church but the church was closed when the two Lutheran Synods at the time merged to create the current Lutheran Church of Australia. Today Abode Park is used as a camping site for families, individuals and groups associated with the Lutheran Church and beyond.

Abode Park offers guests a safe and secure camping (tenting or caravaning) site with stunning views. The old hall offers an all weather kitchen and the site has drop toilets and bucket showers. Usage costs only $5 per person for camping and guests can bring their own fuel for the on-site generators.

Although Abode Park is such a beautiful spot it remains an in-house "secret". Perhaps you could host your next youth group camp, family camping trip or small group escape at this lovely site.
