Walk My Way

Want to challenge yourself AND help refugee kids at the same time?

Walk My Way is coming to the Sunny Coast on Sunday 4 August – and we want YOU!

We’ve planned a 25km Walking Challenge, starting at Good Shepherd Lutheran College in Noosa.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off along the track.

You’ll walk along bike paths, board walks, coastal forest, and some of the best beaches in the world, before arriving at Luther Heights Youth Camp, Coolum, for a Finish Line Celebration!

Just $26 can help a refugee child in South Sudan or Kenya go to school by providing:

Why Walk My Way?

  1. Challenge yourself! (If walking 25kms isn’t a challenge for you, can you run it??)
  2. Support refugee children in South Sudan and Kenya go to school.
  3. Grow your community. Get a team of friends together, so can you support each other during training and then the Walk.
  4. Challenge another team to help more refugee children than you – and to beat your team to the finish line!
  5. Have fun! Great food, good conversations, beautiful scenery – what more could you want?

More than 400 Walkers have already Walk-ed My Way in SA, WA, NT and Vic – helping more than 6,700 refugee children go to school.

QLD challenge: let’s help another 1,000 refugee kids go to school!

I want in! What should I do now?

  1. Register for the Walk
  2. Get sponsors. Ask family, friends, teachers, sports mates, your hairdresser – everyone you know!
  3. Invite others to join your team
  4. Train together
  5. Do the Walk
  6. Celebrate! Refugee children can now go to school because of YOU!
